Current Sensors
Reliable go/no-go run detection for electrically commutated motors
Product overview
Electrically commutated motors (or ECMs) draw a small amount of AC standby current to power their inverters, even when they’re idle. This can produce false “on” status alerts that result in costly, time-consuming call backs. Our ECM Current Switch will prevent that. Its sensor reliably ignores standby current, based on an adjustable setpoint.
Features
- A high-resolution, adjustable turn-on setpoint
- A trip point with an easily scaled dial
- An extremely low turn-on adjustment scale
- No callbacks from false “on” status alerts
- Reduced risk of arc flash, since the sensor can be pre-set without calibration
- Maintenance-free operation
